Yes Bess or No Jose: MAC White Set For Selfridges

I'm so excited about doing this series and already have two or three more planned for the forseeable future!

Anyway, moving on to the post.
I don't follow MAC collections- at all. I don't have a single MAC product but I was surfing and came across this.

I'm not a total anti high end-er, so I know what regular MAC stuff looks like. You know, the plain black and silver packaging; I happen to think this is very sophisticated, so when I saw this, I was like OMG!
In a bad way.
The lip "glass" gloss- honestly whats the point in that. Lipglass. It's not glass you put on your lips-it's gloss! Anyway it looks okay- a pretty colour too. Same with the lipstick, although I don't know the colour.
The quad. Awful. I'm sorry it looks like a cheapy Halloween thing you get in Poundland. The colours look fine but the packaging is so terrible. White plastic never really works out for makeup; I've seen tons, but nothing really gets it.
The brushes. Even more scathing. They look like they have come straight out of a Superdrug Own Brand Make Up Set. (I got one last Xmas- they're not very good) Or even worse, makeup brushes you get in kids makeup sets. That's a more accurate description. The sequinny handle just screams tacky and doesn't match the silver bit that holds the bristles.

Verdict: No Way Jose.

DIY Primer

Hey guys :)
Havent posted in a while; again sorry but I have a few new vids up :)
Because I've no laptop I've been filming on my iPod and I can't edit or insert pics or anything so it has to be perfect and i just filmed a DIY eyeshadow primer tutorial. A few months ago me and my cousin randomly started making lipgloss, nail polish and primer so I just showed you guys how to it. So here are some pictures :)

You can really see the difference when I swatched the Essence lilac shadow. It's primed on the right and not on the left. Also when I rubbed the non primed one it came right off but the primed one didn't
So hope you guys enjoyed!

My New Room

Hey guys :)

So I've filmed a room tour which I'm gonna try and get up and in it I mentioned that I was going to show you how I wanted my new room. Also, I have some tips for budding redecorators, like myself ;)

TOP TIP!

When I started thinking about doing up my room, everything was all over the place, planning wise! I knew if I wanted my mum and dad to take me seriously, I had to really do my homework, so I made a little booklet with absolutely EVERYTHING I needed because some measurements were here and there as with furniture and everything else, so I'm glad its all in one place now :) Just grab some A4 paper, fold it and staple.

What I want my room to reflect is very vintage. I think vintage is so so so so cute! I also made a brief for myself in this book. Honestly I'm so dramatic!

That's what I want my room to look like.

TOP TIP!
Something I found useful was taking pictures of my "areas for improvement" just like a school report and writing down what in that area needed sorting. This massively helped me out!

I also looked for furniture on the computer & printed those out and stuck them in the book, so I could visualise everything.

2 TOP TIPS!
Find a measuring tape. This is your new buddy! You gotta measure everything you find on the computer against your room where you wanna put it and write it down! You gotta do your homework or else no one will take you seriously. What if none of it fits?
Also if you find furniture on a website that you kinda doubt- stick to your guns. While its mostly fab, internet shopping can rob people who put in their credit card details on a dodgy website.

I LOVE accessories! They make a room. If your really properly strapped for cash, get some gorge accessories. Or failing that buy DIY for Dummies.

Tropical Eyes Look

Hey everyone :)
So here is a tropical eyes look. Wanna see this in video? Just say so :)

Tropical Eyes Look

Eye primer
Frosty blue, bright green and turquoise eyeshadow
Bright blue liner
Any tropical colour mascara (e.g green, blue..I don't have one, but I'm sure you get the general idea!)
Bright lipgloss (I'm using a pink, breaking the rules about if eyes are big, do simple lips and vice versa, but this look is supposed to be over the top!)
1-2 eye brushes

1. Put the primer all over your lids (I used Primer Potion)

2. When dry, sweep the green all over the lid (All my eye colours are from a beauty uk palette)

3. Dab the frosty blue in the inner corner

4. Blend turquoise on the outer lid

5. Apply the liner halfway under your eyes (I used an old Barry M)

6. Curl your lashes and apply your chosen mascara

7. Finish off with chosen lipgloss! (I used Collection 2000 Lock 'n' Hold)

My First Post!

Hey everyone
So I am a newYouTube "guru" of beauty :)
I decided to make a blog to kind of...accompany it
On this blog I am going to do lots of things but there's one thing I'm gonna focus on...
So I got a really cute notebook- too cute for school!
So I called it The Lookbook-& that's exactly what it is!
I write down tutorials and stick pics underneath.
I'm gonna post those here, but also make them on my channel, only here I will be doing extras!
(ooh, ahh ;])
Such as what you could wear it with, accessories, nails (if not included in said tutorial) and tons of other jazz!
Also I am really in to baking now, not like boring stuff such as dinners and lunches but fun stuff like bread and cakes and biscuits and desserts.
Would you guys like to see that?
